Measuring vertical Profile view, projected to 3D view

We have noticed you can generate cross sections and take location and distance measures in the vertical profile window. This is great but it would be even better if those points were visible in the 3D view as well. I was wondering if Bentley are planning to develop more render options in a future release? Thematic slope view and switching on contours or flow arrows would be handy options to have. Thanks.
