There's a project need for consistent saved views across multiple models, and less manual methods to achieve this.

As requested, we have put together a list of requirements for the new saved views system & named groups function:

1/ Must have ability to create selection sets (Named Groups) from:

-(selected) Source Models

-IFC Property Set Field Values

-ProjectWise Attributes

-Manual selection

-GUIDs

2/ Must have ability to save selection sets (Named Groups) against a Saved View Template

3/ Must have ability to save appearance rules (overrides) against selection sets within the Saved View Template

4/ Must have ability to report on current applied Saved View Templates for any given iModel (incl. Composites)

5/ Must have ability to Export / Import Saved View Templates between iModels and BIC projects

6/ Should have a library of Saved View Templates managed at BIC level (similar to ‘Manage Forms’ for Admin users)

7/ Could have ability to edit Saved View Template between Export and Import
